Miami Bday Trip!🎉🎁🍾🎈

Hi everyone! It’s been a while I know. Ever since my last post I’ve been working full time, which made posting here a little difficult for me. On my free time I focus on myself, my family, my boyfriend and working out. That doesn’t mean I miss writing and sharing stuff.

This time around I’d love to share my last mini trip to Miami, which was a bday gift from my boyfriend. I have two best friends and both of them live in the USA. One in Tennessee and the other one in Miami. One of my boyfriend’s best friends lives also in Miami so the long weekend around my birthday was the perfect opportunity to make a little escape. That way I could celebrate my bday with one of my girlfriends, something I haven’t done in a while. Here some photos!

I’ve also made a little trip to NYC back in February and I’ll may be posting about it! Thanks for the love!❤️

A well spent Saturday!

Hi guys!!!😝 Hoping you are all doing great! I’ve been MIA, sorry about that! Been busy focusing on job interviews and I’m starting tomorrow on a new one! I’m very excited!😆

I wanted to share some pictures from a little trip to a beach food kiosks, my boyfriend, some friends and I did, this last saturday to a beach called Luquillo, where there’s a large line of food kiosks/restaurants. The menus are
mainly focused on sea food and frituras, which are fried food, native dishes from our island. Frituras includes Alcapurrias, Bacalaitos, Empanadillas, Tostones and many more.

I enjoyed two beef alcapurrias, but I was focused to get my self a Piña Colada inside a pineapple.

This Piña Colada, costs $13.00. I think it was a bit pricey but believe me, it was a LOT of piña colada. It was served with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

After we ate, we walked to the beach. We didn’t get into the water or anything, but we did enjoy the gorgeous view.

Luquillo Beach is located to the northeast coast of our island. It’s one of the most popular beaches we have in Puerto Rico. As you can see, the water is very serene, which I love because I have respect for the ocean. I had a few scary moments with the sea in younger years.

After that, we went to an ice cream place and chat a lot!😋😝 Definetly we had a great time!☺️

So there you have my loves. Hope you enjoyed this pictures from my beloved Puerto Rico beaches. I like to share little bits of where I come from with you guys.

Thanks for stopping by!💖

Lots of love!💕

Stop Canned Hunting!

Hey, Hey!!!

I am a little sadden, but on the bright side. I get to blog about this saddness. I get to show the world through my words on what I learned. I hope to give you wisdom and pray it opens your heart to help.

I have been hearing a lot on the news or from reading the paper about these “Canned Hunting.” I didn’t know what to think of it. Then I read about the dentist whom killed a lion. It was a totally shocker!!!

I know a few years back I read articles on a teenager killing wild animals. I do remember talking about it, but I stopped talking about it. Why did I stop?

I guess it was not that important or had no business of mine. I maybe thought I couldn’t do anything about it cause I don’t have a lot of money. I might…

Saturday Date Night at Oceano!✨

Hi beautiful people! Last Saturday, my boyfriend and I went out on an early date night. We went to our favorite spot. Oceano!

Oceano, is a beachfront lounge restaurant/bar. Located in Condado, one of the most visited touristic spots of Puerto Rico, because of it’s hotels, restaurants, beaches and nightlife. At Oceano you’ll enjoy of great food, drinks and a beautiful beach view. Since my first visit, I fell in love completely with the place. You can make reservations for a table, events or you can just walk in like my boy and I always do and sit on the bar. The service is excellent, we never have complains about it. This spot is also my favorite when I go out with my besties, to have some wine and chat about the latest.

We always start the night with a bottle of our favorite Pinot Noir, Ménage à Trois.

Most of the time we order the same appetizers. Our favorites are Churrasco Eggrolls and Boricua Braised Beef Dumplings.

These are Churrasco Eggrolls. Puerto Rican seasoned churrasco, fried amarillos, bell peppers & cilantro on top of a bed of mesclun with a latin aioli.

Boricua Braised Beef Dumplings. Braised brisket dumplings on top of a black bean plum sauce with sesame seed fried won ton crisps.

My favorite guy and I!

Outfit of the Night!

Makeup of the Night.

If you live in Puerto Rico or plan to visit our island, I recommend you to make a stop at this place. You can visit at earlier evening hours till late night. Here’s Oceano official website, if you want to find out more info about the place or make any reservations.

So this was our Saturday early date night!!! I hope you guys liked the place And hope you’ll visit. I’m sure you’ll love the place as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by loves!💖

Hola gente hermosa! Fuimos a nuestro lugar favorito, Oceano!

Dancing in the rain☔️:#OOTD and Coffee

Hello gorgeous people!💕 Today I had plans to go to the beach with my guy, but the weather had other plans. Because of that, we puerto ricans are very happy because it is finally raining. If you don’t know, we are suffering from a drought a little while now. The Carraízo Dam was alarmingly hitting its limits. Almost to the point of not operating. We are very thankful for today’s rain!🙏🏽☔️💦

So, we changed our plans and went to our favorite spot for brunching in Old San Juan, called Caficultura! I dare to say they serve the best coffee in the world. They offer regular cappuccinos, lattes, cortaditos etc. Also they offer different flavored coffee: coconut, hazelnut and caramel for example. The usual for me is to order a double latte, but this time I ordered a double 2 Nueces, which is the the hazelnut flavored coffee! I had two of them as usual!😆🙈 If you ever visit Puerto Rico, Caficultura is a must!

2 Nueces Coffee (Hazelnut Flavored Coffee)

As for my outfit for the day, I wanted to be very comfortable. I recently bought this little black trapeze dress from Forever 21 for just $22.90. You can manage your look with this dress depending on how you accessorize and that is why I’m so in love with it. The Etched and Twisted Bangle Set is also from Forever 21. The necklace is actually a chain belt from American Eagle Outfitters. I got the turban from eBay. When I told you that I was digging the whole Boho Chic look as of late, it was no lie!🔮😂

Old San Juan

How are you spending your Sunday? Hope you’re having fun and happiness!!!😌🙏🏽

Lots of Love!💕

Gracias a Dios!

Mucho amor!💕

New York, I love you!❤️🗽:#throwbackthursday

Happy Thursday everyone!💖 Today I feel a bit nostalgic. Why? Well, Fall is coming up and this last two years I’ve been able to go visit my favorite city which is New York City. I love fall and I love NYC. I’ve traveled to NYC three times and it always has been in fall season. This year due to some issues I won’t be able to go.

In Puerto Rico we don’t get to experience fall season as in other places. We are in the equator and because of that you might say it is always summer in our island. Maybe around December the weather cools off a bit. Because of that, I love to experience fall when I go to NYC. You get to see the leaves change, which I consider gorgeous and spectacular, the weather is amazing and you get also to wear pretty fashionable autumn outfits lol😂. I can’t experience all of that where I live.

NYC caught my attention since I was very little. It just offers so much and it is always so alive. So many cultures in just one place, you’ll see things you won’t see anywhere else. So many museums, the Central Park, the outstanding lights at Times Square, beautiful skyline. I can be on and on and won’t finish😂. I’m just in love with the city.

The first time I went to NYC, I was unemployed and I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to go. But thanks to one of my best friends insistence and that she also helped me to get some freelance jobs, I made it to the trip. I went with Yadira and Coral, my two best friends. Isn’t that great? My first time to NYC with my best friends. The second time around I went with my mother. Which was very nice and relaxing. But the third time, I went with my boyfriend and we were celebrating our first year together. It was also his first time in NYC and I was very excited to show him the city. We went to EVERY touristic attraction possible! I recommend that if it’s your first visit, you should get the City PASS. This is a booklet that contains passes to NYC’s top touristic attractions. Includes museums, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and a lot more. Totally worth it! You can get your City Pass at the ESB, at another of the included attractions or you could buy at the City PASS official website.

These last two years I’ve stayed at the Hotel Pennsylavia. It is located on the 7th Ave, just upfront the Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. If you read reviews online about the hotel you may freak out and will never stay there. But I’ve stayed two times and I have nothing negative to say. It is not luxurious, it is kinda old, but it is clean, it is spacious, economic and very centric. You can reach any place by walking and it’s super close to Times Square. When you are in NYC you are mostly out on the street and not at the hotel, so there’s no need to overpay for luxuries you may not use.

Here are a few of my favorites pictures about last years trip with my guy!

This is a collage of very special photos a random photographer was snapping without us knowing. This was on Halloween night. He said he went to take pictures of cool costumes in Times Square and there were we eith our puppy love in the middle of Times Square.😂💕

Gee, that was a lot of photos😂. Yup, I got just a liiittle carried away!🙈Hope you guys enjoyed this post. I did enjoyed writing it!!! What is your favorite vacation spot? I’d love to know!!!💕

Thanks for reading my loves and don’t forget to subscribe!!☺️

Love❤️ MUA!💋

Puedo seguir y no acabo!😂

Fuimos a cuanta atracción turística fuese posible.

Yo disfrute mucho escribiendo. Cual es su lugar favorito para vacacionar? Me encantaría que me contaran! Gracias por leer y no olviden subscribirse!☺️☺️
